The <\/span><\/span>Arts Education Grants<\/span><\/span><\/strong> program provides targeted funding to <\/span>nonprofit<\/span> education departments at mid to large cultural institutions within Mecklenburg County. These <\/span>education-operating <\/span>grants support high-quality, impactful arts, science, history, and heritage education programs delivered either within schools or at the organization\u2019s venue, specifically serving school-age children. With a dedicated focus on Title I schools, th<\/span>ese<\/span> grant<\/span>s<\/span>, funded <\/span>by <\/span>Mecklenburg County, <\/span>seek to <\/span><\/span>expand arts education experiences<\/span>, <\/span>eliminate<\/span> barriers to arts and culture participation for school-age children<\/span>, <\/span>enhance student achievement, foster creativity, and contribute to the holistic development of our next generation of leaders<\/span><\/span><\/strong>.
